Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking an entry-level Field Engineer to support and execute assigned construction scopes on solar and energy projects. You will work closely with Project Engineers, Project Managers, and Superintendents, relocating to project sites across the United States for the project duration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil/Mechanical/Electrical engineering or related field.
• Basic knowledge of project management phases.
• Knowledge of public and construction safety and regulations.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to read IFC drawings and job specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist Superintendents on all construction aspects for an assigned scope from notice to proceed through final acceptance.
• Partner with project team to prioritize safety, quality, stewardship, leadership visibility and communication.
• Solve problems and resolve issues through face-to-face communication.
• Coordinate activities with oversight from the Superintendent to execute the project scope.
• Support project administration to ensure work aligns with design, budget, and schedule.
• Coordinate supplier and subcontractor progress on the project.
• Support RFI and Submittal process for assigned scope.
