Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking an entry-level Field Engineer to support and execute assigned scopes for solar energy project construction. The role is 100% site based with home rotations and requires relocation to project sites across the United States, including Olivet, MI, and other locations.

The FE will work closely with Project Engineers and Managers, assisting Superintendents and coordinating with subcontractors while focusing on safety, quality, and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Must have a recent degree or be working toward a bachelor's in construction management, construction science, civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering.
• Strong math and problem-solving abilities relevant to project management and field execution.
• Ability to read and interpret IFC drawings and project specifications for civil and electrical work.

Responsibilities

• Assist Superintendents on all construction aspects for solar energy projects within an assigned scope.
• Collaborate with project team to emphasize safety, quality, and communication.
• Coordinate project activities with supervision from the Superintendent.
• Support project administration to ensure work aligns with design, budget, and schedule.
• Assist with supplier and subcontractor coordination and progress tracking.
• Support RFI and Submittal processes for the assigned scope.
