Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking a Field Engineer to support project construction across the United States. This entry-level role works closely with Project Engineers and Superintendents and requires relocation to project sites for the project duration.

The position focuses on assisting with safety, quality, and schedule execution, coordinating activities, and supporting RFI/submittal processes for the assigned scope. Travel and relocation to sites nationwide are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering or related field.
• Basic knowledge of all phases of project management.
• Familiarity with IFC drawings and job specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist Superintendents on construction aspects from notice to proceed to final acceptance.
• Partner with project team to prioritize safety, quality, and communication.
• Resolve issues through face-to-face communication.
• Coordinate activities for project execution under Superintendent guidance.
• Support project administration to meet design, budget, and schedule.
• Coordinate supplier and subcontractor progress on the project.
• Support RFI and submittal processes for the scope of work.
• Manage contract administration, scheduling, and risk controls.
