Job summary

DEPCOM Power, Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer to support the execution of utility-scale solar, battery energy storage, and related energy infrastructure projects across the United States.

This role links engineering, construction, quality, and project management to ensure safe, efficient delivery in line with design requirements. The ideal candidate has interest in construction and engineering, with exposure to electrical systems or renewable energy; field-based problem solving and

Qualifications

• Experience supporting construction, engineering, or field operations with electrical or energy projects preferred.
• Experience creating reports and maintaining project documentation.
• Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise tasks.
• Valid U.S. driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with construction teams and partners to support project execution.
• Verify work per drawings, specs, and requirements (FAIs).
• Manage field documentation and turnover packages.
• Generate RFIs and track responses to prevent schedule delays.
• Review submittals and ensure compliance.
• Support field verification of electrical systems and equipment.
• Coordinate inspections with AHJs and regulators.
• Use drones to monitor progress and document site conditions.
