Job summary

DEPCOM Power, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is seeking a Field Engineer to support utility-scale solar, battery energy storage, and related energy infrastructure projects across the United States. The role links engineering, construction, quality, and project management to ensure safe, efficient delivery and adherence to design requirements.

The position involves field work, travel, and coordination with multiple teams to resolve issues, verify inspections, and manage documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting construction, engineering, or field operations activities; related technical degree a plus.
• Experience creating reports, maintaining documentation, or compiling project data.
• Experience working against deadlines and managing competing priorities.
• Experience collaborating within a team environment to solve problems and support project objectives.
• Valid U.S. driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with construction teams, engineering partners, subcontractors, owners, and regulatory agencies to support project execution.
• Partner with Quality, Construction, and Engineering teams to support First Article Inspections (FAIs) and verify work is executed per drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Manage engineering and construction documentation, including redlines, as-builts, field reports, inspection records, and turnover packages.
• Generate, track, and facilitate RFIs between project stakeholders to support timely issue resolution and minimize schedule impacts.
• Review material submittals, engineering packages, and construction documentation for compliance with project requirements.
• Support field verification and installation activities for electrical systems, equipment, and infrastructure; coordinate between engineering and construction teams.
