Job summary

Heunets Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer to join as a 1099 independent contractor in Tampa, FL.

The role provides standard on-site and desk-side technical support for end-users, focusing on basic hardware, software, and peripheral issues, with PC imaging and guided troubleshooting under Level 2 or SPOC supervision. The position requires proficiency in English and local language, plus strong customer-facing and organizational skills to manage tickets, SLAs, and data handling.

Qualifications

• Proficient in English and local language (written and verbal).
• Provide basic onsite and desk-side support for hardware and standard office software.
• Perform standard PC imaging and basic troubleshooting under guidance.

Responsibilities

• Onsite and desk-side support for end-users.
• Troubleshoot PC-related issues following SOPs or guidance from Level 2 engineers or SPOC.
• Manage basic incidents and service requests within defined SLAs and update tickets daily.
• Assist with end-user data backup and restoration during incidents per guidelines.
• Provide basic smart hands support in the data center under supervision.
