Roundhouse in Garden City, ID, is seeking a Field Engineer to bridge field operations and project administration. You will support the Superintendent with daily on-site activities, while owning technical and documentation tasks to keep projects moving.

This role offers growth toward a Superintendent position. You will develop schedules, coordinate subcontractors, manage site logistics, and ensure safety compliance with OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–4 years of multifamily or comparable construction experience (field, internship, or project engineering).
• Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills for a fast-paced field environment.

Responsibilities

• Support field operations and scheduling for daily on-site activities.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate the project schedule with four-week look-aheads.
• Supervise subcontractors and coordinate trades in the field.
• Conduct daily site walks, lead foremen huddles, and run coordination meetings.
• Maintain daily reports, field logs, and as-built drawings.
