Roundhouse in Eagle, ID is seeking a Field Engineer to bridge field operations and project administration. You will support the Superintendent in directing daily field work while owning technical and documentation tasks that keep projects moving.

Ideal candidates have 1–4 years in multifamily construction, read plans, and communicate effectively. This entry-to-mid-level role offers hands-on field support, safety accountability, and opportunities to advance toward a Superintendent role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–4 years in multifamily or similar construction roles.
• Able to read and interpret plans, drawings, and specs.
• Strong communication and problem-solving in a fast-paced field.
• Proficient with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar CM software.
• OSHA 10/30 and CPR/First Aid certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily on-site construction activities with labor, materials, and equipment.
• Develop and manage project schedules with four-week look-aheads and daily work plans.
• Supervise subcontractors and trades to keep crews on schedule.
• Maintain daily site logs, field reports, and photos; provide updates to leadership.
• Support safety inspections and ensure compliance with permits and codes.
