Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an Entry Level Field Engineer to support field and office engineering on diverse construction projects across the United States. The role emphasizes interpreting drawings, performing takeoffs, and coordinating on-site activities to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.

Base compensation ranges from $80,000 to $90,000 per year, with relocation assistance available as projects require.

Responsibilities

• Assist interpretation of drawings and specs for field crews.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and material calculations.
• Assist in work plans, job hazards, and safety reviews.
• Support field surveying, layout, and as-built data.
• Support cost reporting and change orders.
• Coordinate material deliveries and onsite supervision.
• Assist in preparing submittals and data for customers and vendors.
• Enter data into project cost systems and maintain records.
• Relocate to various project sites as needed.
