Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an Entry Level Field Engineer to contribute to dynamic construction projects across the United States. You will work under experienced teams, learn field operations, and help ensure the job gets done safely and efficiently.

The role covers field and office engineering tasks, including interpretation of drawings, takeoffs, planning, and daily reporting. Relocation is possible as projects vary by location, with strong emphasis on safety and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in a construction-related field.
• Willingness to travel/relocate as business requires.
• Strong work ethic and safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and craft supervision.
• Perform quantity calculations by taking measurements and determining percentages of completed/installed work.
• Assist in the preparation of work plans and work packages.
• Assist in field surveying and layout support including elevations and control points.
• Assist in compiling daily labor timesheets and JHA preparation.
• Provide field support and supervise subcontractor operations.
