Job summary

VEIT is seeking a Field Engineer to join our team, supporting mission-critical data center projects nationwide. You will coordinate between field operations and project managers, track production, and help ensure safety and compliance.

Ideal candidates have an engineering or construction background with 0-2 years of field experience or 4+ years of related education, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills. Travel is 80-100% to client sites across the United States.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in construction management, engineering or related field with 0-2 years' experience or 4+ years of equivalent education and experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work with field concepts and office.
• Effective communication (oral, written, presentation, listening) with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates project execution between field operations and project management.
• Tracks production and project costs to stay within budget.
• Assists with job site duties and safety documentation.
• Prepares change orders and maintains submittal/RFI logs.
