Job summary

Harder Mechanical Contractors Inc is seeking a Project Engineer to plan, schedule and execute project scopes across commercial, advanced technology, and industrial sectors. You will coordinate with field labor to ensure safety, on-time delivery and adherence to quality standards.

This entry-level path leads to a project management career. You will review drawings, resolve engineering constraints, monitor construction progress, and assist the project manager with duties and future work estimates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Management, Mechanical, Industrial, Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–10 years of construction management experience.
• Proficient in reading mechanical and plumbing drawings and coordinating with design teams.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings and compile project scope and quantities.
• Monitor field construction to ensure plans are followed and on schedule.
• Coordinate with designers, owners and field crews to resolve issues.
• Prepare and monitor work packages including labor and cost estimates.
• Track progress and maintain project records.
• Mentor new engineers and support the project manager.
