Job summary

Kiewit is hiring an Entry Level Field Engineer to support Field and Office Engineering on diverse construction projects across the United States. You will assist in interpreting drawings, prepare work plans, and help manage safety and quality on site.

The role offers hands-on training, relocation opportunities, and exposure to large-scale facilities like hospitals, stadiums, and educational buildings. A construction-related engineering degree is required, with a strong work ethic and teamwork

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in a construction-related field of engineering.
• Positive, can-do attitude.
• Strong work ethic and initiative.
• Leadership experience or demonstrated responsibility is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interpreting drawings and specifications for field crews and supervision.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and measurements for work progress.
• Assist in preparing work plans, packages, JHA, and safety reviews.
• Support field surveying, elevations, control points, and as-built data collection.
• Maintain daily labor timesheets and job cost records.
• Coordinate material deliveries and schedule work groups on site.
• Supervise field operations and support subcontractors.
