Job summary

William Charles Construction, part of MasTec's CEI group, seeks Field Engineer Interns for Summer 2027. Responsibilities include supporting PM/CM, implementing quality plans, inventory, and site documentation. Travel up to 75% nationwide, with a Rockford, IL base.

Qualifications include pursuing Civil/Construction/Electrical or Mechanical engineering, GPA 3.0+, and 24 college credits. Per diem and base pay apply to travel, with long hours possible.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate pursuit in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Electrical/Mechanical Engineering also acceptable.
• Minimum GPA 3.0 and 24 college credits completed.

Responsibilities

• Perform field survey work for layout and tracking using GPS and PC software.
• Assist with quality control records and required reporting.
• Help plan, schedule, and coordinate audits and inspections.
