Job summary

The Kiewit internship in the Power Delivery division offers hands-on exposure to construction management within field operations. You will develop, participate in, and learn key roles across project controls, craft management, safety, and contract administration as part of a dynamic team.

Ideal candidates are pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering, with strong organizational and communication skills, and a willingness to relocate for project

Qualifications

• Pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering or related degree.
• Broad knowledge of project scheduling, cost control, and reading specifications and drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse team to build, estimate, and schedule mechanical, electrical and heavy industrial systems.
• Support administrative and construction activities, review proposals, perform takeoffs, prepare cost estimates.
• Learn to supervise subcontractors and communicate with vendors.
• Prepare work plans, ensure quality control, track costs and materials, schedule equipment, and support safety programs.
• Demonstrate leadership and readiness to relocate as required.
