Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Broad knowledge of project scheduling and cost control; ability to read drawings.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; familiarity with construction software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building, estimating, and scheduling mechanical, civil, electrical and heavy industrial construction.
• Support administrative and construction activities; review proposals, takeoffs, cost estimates, and attend pre-bid meetings.
• Learn to supervise subcontractors and communicate with vendors.
• Prepare work plans, assure quality control, manage and track costs and materials, schedule equipment, and support safety programs.
• Maintain records regarding job progress and costs; plan and schedule job segments.
• Investigate problems and identify solutions; review plans and specs for material requirements and pricing.
• Coordinate with suppliers to handle and expedite delivery of materials.
