Job summary

Carrier is seeking a results-oriented Field Engineer Intern to support startup, commissioning and re-commissioning of customer systems that use pneumatic, electrical and electronic technology. You will work closely with lead project personnel to learn building automation processes.

This paid internship offers hands-on experience in HVAC and control logic, travel up to 50% locally, and exposure to Visio, Excel and field tech tools as part of Carrier’s energy solutions team.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in an engineering field.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher required.
• Eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist with startup, commissioning and re-commissioning of customer systems.
• Support maintenance of accurate As-Built drawings and update in Visio, Excel, and Word.
• Assist with calibration and software programming tasks as needed.
• Track progress and report to lead project personnel.
• Prepare project paperwork, time sheets and status reports.
