Job summary

Automated Logic, a Carrier brand, seeks a Field Engineer Intern to support startup, commissioning and servicing building automation systems. You will assist with configurations, calibration and documentation while traveling locally to project sites.

The role emphasizes hands-on engineering, accuracy in drawings, and collaboration with project teams in a dynamic energy solutions environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s program in any engineering field.
• GPA 3.0 or higher required.
• Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist startup, commissioning, and re-commissioning of customer systems.
• Maintain accurate As-Built drawings in Visio, Excel, and Word.
• Calibrate systems using basic electronic test equipment.
• Assist in software commissioning for building networks.
• Set up operator workstations with required software.
• Back up job databases daily or as advised.
• Provide progress updates to lead project personnel.
• Document work orders and project status on time.
