Job summary

TAS Energy is seeking a Field Service Technician III to provide on-site field support including commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, and retrofit of mechanical and electrical systems for projects. Travel is extensive, with collaboration across QA, project engineers, PMs, and clients.

Independent work at sites is essential, and safety certifications are encouraged. The role involves installing and validating mechanical/electrical portions, producing O&M data, and contributing to final project

Qualifications

• Significant field experience in startup, repair and maintenance work.
• Experience with startup and troubleshooting of VFDs (Eaton and Allen-Bradley).
• Experience verifying compliance with ASHRAE, ASME and other codes and practices.

Responsibilities

• Startup, preventive maintenance, and service of pumps and pumps-related equipment.
• Startup, preventive maintenance, and service of cooling equipment and chillers.
• Startup and troubleshooting of variable frequency drives.
• Install and repair power distribution systems including motors and MCCs.
• Collaborate with project engineers, managers, and client personnel.
• Compile O&M information and assist in IOM manual preparation.
