Job summary

FlatironDragados is seeking a Field Engineer II to provide technical engineering information to ensure construction work complies with all standards, codes and contract specifications. The role involves collaborating with project crews to maintain schedules and budgets, reviewing drawings and specifications, and contributing to project planning and risk assessment.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field and at least 1 year of construction engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field required.
• 1 year of experience in construction engineering required.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical engineering information to ensure construction work complies with engineering standards, codes and contract specifications.
• Meets daily with project crews to review production schedule and confirm materials, equipment and resources are available to maintain schedule and budget.
• Collects and analyzes shop drawings, design specs, material requirements and project data to ensure quality and contract compliance.
• Provides input for project work plan and scheduling and identifies risk elements that could affect budget or schedule.
• Tracks project performance by evaluating daily production, schedule and budget projections and documents activities.
