Job summary

FlatironDragados is seeking a Field Engineer to lead field activities on construction projects in Raleigh. You will deliver technical engineering information to ensure all work complies with engineering standards, codes, and contract specifications.

You will review production schedules, coordinates materials, and support daily field operations. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 1 year of construction engineering experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required.
• 1+ year experience preferred in construction engineering.
• Beginner knowledge of construction equipment, drawings, specifications, building materials and standards.

Responsibilities

• Meets daily with project crews to review production schedule and ensure materials and resources are available.
• Collects and analyzes shop drawings, design specs, material requirements and project data to ensure quality and compliance.
• Provides technical input for project work plans and scheduling; identifies risk affecting budget or schedule.
• Evaluates daily production, schedule and budget projections; documents daily activities.
• Remits accurate project quantity input and controls using project cost coding; coordinates with finance for time, materials, equipment and subcontractors.
