Job summary

FlatironDragados is seeking a Field Engineer II to provide technical engineering support and ensure construction work meets all standards, codes, and contract specs. The role involves coordinating with project crews, reviewing schedules, and ensuring materials and resources align with the production plan.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering with at least 1 year of construction engineering experience.

Qualifications

Must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
At least 1 year of construction engineering experience.

Responsibilities

Provides technical engineering information to ensure construction work complies with all engineering standards, codes and contract specifications.
Meets daily with project crews to review production schedule and confirm resources are available.
Collects and analyzes shop drawings, design specs, material needs and project data for quality and contract compliance.
Provides input for project work plan and scheduling; identifies risks to budget or schedule.
Monitors daily production, schedule and budget; documents activities.
Notifies team of schedule changes and recommends solutions to management.
Reviews and approves daily timecards; coordinates with payroll and supervisors.
Ensures quality assurance by reviewing project specs and arranging certificates and inspections.
