Job summary

JT4, LLC seeks a Field Engineer I to support installation, operation, testing, and maintenance of electronic systems on U.S. Air Force and Navy telemetry projects in Edwards, CA. The role is entry level and is performed as part of a project team.

Responsibilities include assisting senior engineers, preparing reports, creating trouble tickets in Maximo, and interfacing with customers. Overtime, shifts, and travel may be required; DoD clearance and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Four+ years of technical/professional experience in the field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, test, and maintain electronic equipment and systems.
• Assist in preparing reports and technical studies.
• Create trouble tickets in Maximo to track work performed.
• Interact with customers via email, phone, or in person to coordinate tasks.
• Work overtime and travel as needed to support missions.
