Job summary

JT4, LLC in the United States is seeking an entry-level Field Engineer I to support installation, operation, testing, and maintenance of electronic systems as part of a project team. This position requires an associate's degree in engineering or military equivalent with 4+ years of related experience, strong communication, planning skills, and the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Occasional travel to remote locations may be required; U.S.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in engineering or military equivalent and 4+ years of technical/professional experience.
• Knowledge of standard test methods and procedures used in engineering.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to plan, organize, and work as part of a team.
• Must possess a valid state driver's license and be able to obtain security clearance.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Perform fundamental field engineering tasks in installation, operations, testing, and maintenance of electronic equipment.
• Assist higher-level engineers with technical information and standard procedures.
• Prepare reports, correspondence, or technical studies under guidance.
• Support projects with limited scope or parts of larger projects as directed.
• Travel to remote work locations may be required.
