Job summary

JT4, LLC seeks an Engineering Technician IV to support engineering and design staff across install, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of complex electronic and mechanical systems. You will work on telemetry tracking, RF theory, and landscape of LAN/WAN networks, providing on-site coordination and senior technician guidance.

The role requires active DoD security clearance within 180 days and U.S. citizenship, with potential travel and overtime.

Qualifications

• Seven years of job-related experience in engineering technician roles.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance (Top-Secret path preferred).
• U.S. citizen with valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
• Experience supporting telemetry tracking, RF systems, and test equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, monitor, and service equipment at company and client sites.
• Assist with test, evaluation, check-out, and certification tasks.
• Perform validations and verifications of electronic systems.
• Review engineering changes and assist in implementing instructions.
• Develop data for maintenance manuals and procedures.
• Provide on-site customer interface for installation and testing.
• Train junior technicians and support engineers in operations.
• Ensure QA, safety guidelines, and required certifications are met.
• Travel to remote locations and work overtime or weekends as needed.
