Job summary

IES Communications, LLC is seeking a Field Engineer to drive closeout activities, redline updates, and quality audits across fiber, copper, and network installations. You will verify prints, support RFPs, and coordinate with installation teams to ensure design conformance.

Ideal candidates have 3–4 years of commercial low-voltage/cabling experience, strong problem-solving skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Travel within the region may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–4 years field experience in low-voltage/structured cabling.
• Ability to work with others and meet deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/MS Project).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within territory.

Responsibilities

• Closeout and redlines to ensure design/spec compliance.
• Conduct test audits and document lessons learned.
• Prepare warranties, submittals, and RFIs for reviews.
• Print labels and assist in design/shop drawing reviews.
• Coordinate with field teams to verify infrastructure installation.
