Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assists with construction field work tasks and activities on a project to ensure conformance to plans, specifications, and other contract documents.
• Observes on-site material testing and coordinates testing and monitoring services.
• Reads and interprets construction drawings and specifications and identifies discrepancies or conflicts within the documents.
• Reviews contractor’s daily construction reports for accuracy, thoroughness and consistency; prepares reports on construction progress.
• Consults with Resident Engineer on work progress and construction problems, assists in resolving issues.
