Job summary

Sundt Construction in the United States is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer support role. You will assist the Project Engineer as the technical source of information for the project and liaise with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.

This position includes three steps (I, II and Senior) for progression; you will help with change orders, RFIs, submittals, and documentation while contributing to cost control and safety culture.

Qualifications

• Ability to assume responsibility and communicate with others.
• Entry-level position requiring a four-year construction-related degree or equivalent experience.
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assists Project Engineer in developing and maintaining as-built drawings and other work tasks and assists with or reviews and processes submittals, change orders, RFl's, and budget forecasting.
• Ensures timely generation, collection, distribution, storage, retrieval and disposition of meeting agendas, RFIs and daily reports.
• Demonstrates understanding of the project management plan (PMP) and supports the plan execution and change management process.
• Performs project scope activities and supports the team to complete the project successfully.
• Ensures administration of the project quality management plan and reinforces a safety culture.
• May assist in calculating daily production rates and unit costs for self-performed work; participates in risk management and environmental controls.
• May oversee BIM coordination between subcontractors and designers and assist with LEED documentation and ORD creation.
