Job summary

Sundt Construction is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer assistant in Sahuarita, AZ. This role supports the Project Engineer by addressing drawings, specs, change orders, RFIs, and submittals. You will help maintain as-built documents, budgets, and coordination between teams to ensure project success.

The position progresses through steps I, II, and Senior, reflecting growth in skill and responsibility on larger/complex projects.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position requiring a four-year construction-related degree or equivalent field experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to interface with owners, architects, engineers, subs and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Engineer as a technical information source for drawings, specs and change orders.
• Assist in writing change orders, RFI's, meeting minutes, and submittal reviews.
• Maintain professional working relationships with project stakeholders.
• Support in development of as-built drawings and budget forecasting.
• Help administer the project quality management plan and safety culture.
• Assist in BIM coordination between subcontractors and designers.
• Aid in LEED documentation and ORD creation/updating.
• Provide lines, grades and layout as needed for the project; maintain logs.
