Job summary

Sundt Enterprise in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer Assistant to support the Project Engineer with technical information, drawings, and change orders. You will assist in submittals, budgets, and meeting minutes while maintaining coordination with owners, architects, engineers, subs, and suppliers.

The role progresses through Steps I, II, and Senior as skills grow; a four-year construction degree or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position requiring a four-year construction-related degree or equivalent technical/field experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Ability to interface and communicate with others.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Engineer in developing and maintaining as-built drawings and submittals.
• Support change orders, RFI's, meeting minutes, and budget forecasting.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Monitor PMP and change management processes; support project scope activities.
• Support quality management and safety culture on the project.
• Assist in calculating daily production rates and costs for self-performed work.
• Oversee BIM coordination between Subcontractors and Designers.
• Assist documentation for LEED Certification and updating ORD.
• Provide weekly quantities and maintain quantity logs; help budget control.
• Support superintendents and resolve field problems.
