Job summary

Rising Edge Group is seeking a Field Engineer to oversee construction projects from the ground up, coordinating with project managers, safety, and subcontractors to ensure work meets design specifications.

You will conduct site inspections, prepare reports, manage documentation, and support the team with RFIs, material planning, and quality control while traveling to multiple job sites across North America.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering degree or 4+ years HV construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards.
• Proficient in Excel and comfortable with large data sets.
• Experience with project management software such as Aconex.
• Willingness to travel to multiple job sites.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support during the construction phase, ensuring designs meet specifications.
• Review project drawings and specifications, offering feedback as necessary.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure proper task execution.
• Support project managers in maintaining documentation of progress and challenges.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and resolve issues.
• Prepare reports detailing project status, metrics, and outcomes.
• Draft RFIs and liaise with clients for clarifications.
• Attend daily meetings with clients and contractors, relaying updates.
