Job summary

Rising Edge Group is seeking an experienced Superintendent to manage daily on-site electrical construction activities across North America. You will lead field crews, coordinate with the Project Manager and client, ensure safety, track timesheets, and maintain quality per design documents and schedules.

The role requires 3+ years in electrical construction (high/medium voltage preferred), a construction management or electrician designation, and strong leadership, communication, and

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or a Journeyperson Electrician/PSE designation.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• 3+ years of experience in electrical construction, including leading field crews.
• Experience in medium- to high-voltage substation construction is strongly preferred.
• Ability to coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors to meet project schedules and quality requirements.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with project drawings, specifications, schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Lead, supervise, and support site crews, fostering productivity, accountability, and teamwork.
• Ensure daily completion and submission of crew timesheets.
• Act as the primary liaison between the company, client representatives, subcontractors, and on-site personnel.
• Promote a strong safety culture by leading by example and ensuring adherence to company safety policies and procedures.
• Document and report all incidents and injuries, including completion of required reports and communication with the Safety Manager.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to meet construction timelines through effective planning and use of manpower, materials, tools, and equipment.
• Monitor and maintain quality of workmanship in accordance with design documents and project requirements.
• Mentor, train, and motivate crew members to support continuous improvement and safe work practices.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager and client to review, track, and resolve RFIs and COs.
• Support internal and external audits, inspections, and compliance activities.
