Job summary

Kiewit Building Group is seeking a Field Engineer for our diverse construction projects across the United States. The role focuses on interpreting drawings, supporting field crews, and assisting with quantity takeoffs, layout, and reporting to ensure work is completed accurately and safely.

You will contribute to both field and office engineering efforts, participate in safety reviews, and support project managers with data, schedules, and requisitions, while traveling as needed to project sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in a construction-related field of engineering.
• Willing to travel and relocate to multiple cities as business requires.
• Strong work ethic with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and supervision.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and measure completed work.
• Assist in preparation of work plans, packages, and daily reports.
• Support field surveying and layout, including elevations and control points.
