Job summary

Kiewit Building Group is seeking a Field Engineer to join our Field Operations team in the United States. The role combines field interpretation of drawings, takeoffs, work planning, surveying support, and coordination of crews to ensure on-site success.

As an entry-level professional, you will gain hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to hospitals, stadiums, schools, and other major projects. Expect relocation opportunities across project locations with a strong safety and ethics culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in a construction-related field of engineering.
• Positive, can-do attitude; strong work ethic.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interpretation of drawings and specs for field crews.
• Perform quantity calculations and takeoffs.
• Prepare work plans and packages for field operations.
• Support field surveying, elevations, and as-built data collection.
• Assist in labor timekeeping and JHA preparation.
• Coordinate material deliveries and plan jobsite work groups.
• Supervise field operations and provide field support to subcontractors.
