Job summary

Terracon is seeking an engineer-in-training/early-career professional to provide engineering and consulting services across diverse projects. You will perform field investigations, analysis, CAD drafting, and reporting while ensuring compliance with plans and specifications.

The role involves collaborating with project teams and communicating complex concepts to clients and colleagues. You will develop plans, participate in safety planning, and contribute to proposals and cost estimates, with

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
A valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history may be required.
Engineering Intern (Engineer in Training) preferred or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

Follow safety rules and standards for all projects and participate in pre-task planning.
Review drawings and construction to ensure compliance with plans and specs.
Prepare proposals and cost estimates; track project progress and budgets.
Perform and/or lead field investigations, analysis, calculations, and recommendations.
Develop plans and specifications; observe and inspect work.
Collaborate with technical staff to resolve design and construction issues.
Draft routine proposals and assist in more complex proposals.
Perform plan drafting using CAD software; participate in data collection and reporting.
