Job summary

Terracon Consultants, Inc. is seeking an engineering professional to perform and lead field investigations, analysis, and the design and development of plans and specifications for a broad range of projects.

You will review drawings for compliance, prepare proposals and cost estimates, and track project progress while communicating technical concepts to clients and project teams. The role involves supervising field teams, coordinating laboratory testing, and developing detailed work plans under

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
Minimum 1-3 years' experience in engineering or related field.
Master's degree in Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects and participate in pre-task planning.
Demonstrate quality practices and acumen on project delivery.
Provide consistent quality standards on proposal and project delivery.
Manage and execute small projects of minimal complexity under supervision of senior staff.
Assist in developing scope of work for routine projects and prepare cost estimates and specifications.
Analyze data and perform engineering calculations for PE review.
Coordinate or supervise field investigations, laboratory testing, and evaluation of data.
Develop plans and schedules and coordinate detailed phases of assigned project work.
Interact with client and project team to develop scope of services and communicate progress.
Work under supervision of a Professional Engineer and Terracon Authorized Project Reviewer.
