Job summary

Terracon Consultants, Inc. is seeking an entry-level engineer to provide engineering and consulting services across a broad range of projects.

The role may involve leading field investigations, performing analyses, developing plans, and preparing reports for diverse clients in public works, transportation, energy, and industrial sectors. You will review drawings for compliance, assist with proposals and cost estimates, and support project teams under supervision of a Professional Engineer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• A valid driver's license with acceptable violation history may be required.
• Engineering Intern (Engineer in Training) or ability to obtain is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects and participate in pre-task planning.
• Review drawings and construction to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
• Prepare proposals and cost estimates, track progress, budgets and recommend changes.
• Perform engineering analysis, calculations and provide design recommendations.
• Draft routine plans using CAD software and assist in data collection and reporting.
• Work under the supervision of a Professional Engineer.
