Job summary

Terracon seeks an engineering professional to provide engineering and consulting services across diverse projects. The role involves field investigations, data analysis, and preparation of reports, plans, and specifications.

You will support senior staff, contribute to cost estimating, and ensure compliance with plans and safety standards. Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 1–3 years of experience; a Master’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Engineering required or equivalent.
• Master’s degree preferred for advanced roles.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and participate in pre-task planning.
• Demonstrate quality practices and deliver proposals and projects.
• Manage and execute small projects of minimal complexity.
• Assist in developing the scope of work for routine projects.
• Assist in preparing cost estimates, specs, and related documents.
• Analyze data and perform engineering calculations for review.
• Coordinate field investigations, lab testing, and data evaluation.
• Develop plans, schedules, and coordinate project work.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to gain project management experience.
• Provide design recommendations for review by the Professional Engineer of Record.
• Prepare work scope, proposals, and reports for approval.
