Job summary

Kiewit Building Group is hiring an Entry Level Field Engineer for our Field Operations. The role supports field and office engineering on diverse construction projects across the United States, with relocation as needed.

The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and professional growth, offering training, mentorship, and exposure to hospital, stadium, education, and office building projects. Strong fit for recent graduates in construction-related fields.

Qualifications

• Ability to travel and relocate to various cities as business requires.
• Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in a construction-related field of engineering.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and craft supervision.
• Perform quantity calculations by taking measurements and determining completed/installed material percentages.
• Assist in preparing work plans and work packages.
• Assist in field surveying and layout support including elevation and control points.
• Assist in compiling daily labor timesheets.
• Assist in preparing Job Hazard Analyses (JHA’s).
• Assist with underground tunneling and construction operations.
