Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an Entry Level Field Engineer to support field and office engineering tasks on diverse projects across the United States. You’ll interpret drawings, perform takeoffs, assist with job scheduling, and contribute to safety and quality on-site.

This role offers hands-on training, relocation support, and room for advancement within a large contractor network. Ideal candidates are eager to learn, proactive, and comfortable moving between job sites.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel and relocate as business requires.
• Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in a construction-related field of engineering.
• Positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews.
• Perform quantity calculations by measurements and completed work.
• Assist in preparation of work plans and packages.
• Assist in field surveying and layout support including elevations and control points.
• Assist in compiling daily labor timesheets and JHA preparation.
• Support underground tunneling and construction operations and safety reviews.
