Job summary

Kiewit Foundations Co. is seeking entry-level Field/Office Engineers to support field and estimating work on underground and foundation projects across North America.

You will learn to perform quantity takeoffs, time studies, and bid support while rotating between field and office roles. Ideal candidates hold a construction-related bachelor's degree, are willing to travel, and will contribute to safety and project delivery across diverse sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field (civil, mining, mechanical, geotechnical, construction management).
• Previous experience in construction or mining is preferred.
• Willingness to travel and relocate across the country.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and supervision.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and measurements for progress tracking.
• Prepare work plans, field surveying, and job hazard analysis support.
• Support field and office engineering tasks, data gathering, and cost-related activities.
• Assist in preparing submittals, purchase orders, and change orders.
