Job summary

Kiewit Foundations Co seeks an Entry Level Field/Office Engineer to support field and office operations on geotechnical projects across North America. You will assist in interpreting drawings, preparing work plans, and coordinating field activities with supervision.

A bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field is required, with a willingness to travel and relocate as needed. Base compensation starts at $82,000 per year and can reach up to $88,000, with a comprehensive benefits package and

Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field—civil, mining, mechanical, geotechnical, or construction management.
Willingness to travel and relocate nationwide as projects require.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and supervision.
Perform quantity calculations from measurements and completed/installed materials.
Assist in preparation of work plans and work packages.
Support field surveying and layout, including elevations and control points.
Assist in collecting daily labor timesheets and JHA preparation.
Coordinate material deliveries and schedule work groups on site.
Supervise field operations and support subcontractors.
