Job summary

Harder Mechanical Contractors is seeking an entry-level Field Engineer to support a large-scale data center project in rural Texas. The role partners with project teams, field leadership, and stakeholders to ensure safety, schedule, and quality, serving as the starting point for a project management career at Harder.

The ideal candidate is a recent graduate with interest in construction management, strong problem-solving skills, and a willingness to travel to gain exposure to multiple markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Business Management, Mechanical, Industrial, Civil Engineering and/or equivalent experience or education.
• Previous internship experience, preferably with a focus on construction or engineering.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and execute a specific scope of the project assigned at Harder.
• Coordinate with field labor to ensure safety, schedule adherence, and quality standards.
• Serve as the entry point for a project management career at Harder.
• Learn and implement Harder’s safety policies and protocols.
