Job summary

NV2A Group, LLC in Miami, FL is seeking a Field Engineer to provide technical engineering information and support to Project Managers, Supervisors, and corporate staff. The role ensures designs comply with standards and oversees project controls including cost, scheduling, and estimating.

The position requires a BS in engineering and 1–2 years of construction experience, preferably with MEP projects. MasTec's CE&I background informs the project team and safety-first culture.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited university.
• Minimum 1–2 years of construction experience required.
• Prior experience with MEP projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand technical drawings and specifications for industrial construction.
• Plan and develop construction work packages for civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and process plant systems.
• Coordinate craft production and release work to meet project schedules.
• Support the Construction Manager in analyzing and reporting daily progress of subcontractors.
• Provide cost, scheduling, and estimating support as part of Project Controls.
• Prepare QA/QC documentation and as-built drawings when required.
