Job summary

MasTec Civil is seeking a Field Engineer in Boynton Beach, FL to support project managers, engineers, and superintendents in planning, scheduling, and field operations. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and adherence to plans and specs, with daily documentation and coordination across field and office teams.

Ideal candidates have a 4-year engineering/CM degree and at least 4 years of similar experience, plus strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering / construction management or equivalent.
• Minimum of 4 years field engineering and/or surveying experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; supervisory ability.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager, Project Superintendent and Project Engineer as required.
• Perform field engineering and design of temporary structures (formwork, lift plans, shoring).
• Assist in schedule preparations, identify long-lead items, and track quantities.
• Coordinate survey crew activities
• Responsible for cost forecasting and project costing support
• Prepare requisitions for equipment and materials and ensure conformance with drawings.
