Job summary

The NRP Group seeks a Field Engineer to support project construction under the direction of the Project Superintendent. You will manage document control, submittals, RFIs, and logs, coordinating with the Project Manager and field staff to move projects from conception to completion.

Responsibilities include creating and tracking submittal schedules, maintaining logs, and ensuring proper safety and quality control across multi-family construction sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction or Civil related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum two years of construction industry experience, preferably in multi-family housing.
• Experience with inspector guidelines, building codes and safety practices.
• Use of PlanGrid, Timberline Project Management, Procore or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Create the submittal schedule, track schedule and review submittals against plans/specifications.
• Track submittal process and maintain submittal log.
• Assist superintendents with updating schedule documents and inspections.
• Provide document control and maintain daily/weekly/monthly construction logs and reports.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, and change orders with logs and documentation.
• Coordinate QC items and logs with QC manager.
• Support safety and risk management across the project.
