Job summary

Bechtel Global Corporation in Clay, NY is seeking a field engineer to support CIF scopes within coatings, insulation, and fireproofing. You will plan, coordinate, and execute construction activities, supporting superintendents, crafts, subcontractors, and other disciplines to ensure safe, compliant work per design.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 5–8 years of relevant experience, with strong knowledge of CIF systems and coordination across teams.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5–8 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of CIF standards, installation requirements, and quality controls.
• Ability to coordinate with engineering, construction, and quality teams to resolve NCRs.

Responsibilities

• Develop IWPs and short interval plans for CIF scopes.
• Prepare and review drawings, instructions, specs, and installation details.
• Coordinate with superintendents for planning readiness, permits, materials, and execution.
• Verify quantities and support progress tracking for CIF materials.
• Ensure CIF materials and systems align with project needs.
• Interface with superintendents, crafts, and subcontractors to coordinate technical requirements.
• Support inspection planning, NCR resolution, punch closure, turnover docs.
• Promote Zero Accident Philosophy during CIF activities.
