Job summary

American Cementing LLC is seeking a Field Engineer I-III to provide technical and engineering support for cementing operations. You will collaborate with internal teams and customers, perform field inspections, analyze job requirements, and deliver technical solutions to meet customer and operational needs.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 4+ years in oilfield services or energy, with cementing experience preferred. On-site field work in Dickinson, ND is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in oilfield services or energy industry (cementing preferred).
• Field experience in cementing operations and job design/ execution.
• Laboratory or sales experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee customer needs, engineering activities, and quality control processes.
• Prepare written job recommendations and computer models to support field operations.
• Work with customer engineering teams to analyze well conditions and job specifications.
• Coordinate with lab technicians, logistics, and operations to prepare equipment and materials.
• Develop and evaluate lab tests to ensure correct products and systems are used.
• Conduct on-site quality and safety inspections during job execution.
• Deliver technical training to district equipment operators and service supervisors.
• Support onboarding and technical development of new Field Engineers.
• Perform other duties to support goals.
