Job summary

Sundt Construction is seeking an entry- to mid-level Project Engineer Assistant in Lockhart, Texas. This role supports the Project Engineer as a technical source of information for drawings, specs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes.

You will assist with RFl's, budgets, and daily reports while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. The position follows three progression steps (I, II, Senior) with increasing responsibility and skill development as you gain experience on the

Qualifications

• Entry-level position that normally requires a four-year construction-related degree or equivalent technical/field experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Assists the Project Engineer by providing a technical information source for the project and handling submittals and change orders.
• Responds to questions about drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and change orders and helps write change orders, RFIs, meeting minutes.
• Maintains professional relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Supports in developing as-built drawings, budget forecasting, and daily reports distribution.
• Understands the project management plan and assists in risk management and cost control activities.
• Supports BIM coordination between subcontractors and designers and may assist with LEED documentation.
