Sundt Construction in Dallas is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer with progression to II and Senior steps. The role focuses on being the technical information source for the project, responding to drawings and specifications, and supporting change orders, RFIs, and submittals.

As a growing professional, you will maintain relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers while advancing through the three-step career ladder.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position requiring a four-year construction-related degree or equivalent technical/field experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to interface and communicate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Engineer in developing and maintaining as-built drawings and processing submittals, change orders, RFIs, and meeting minutes.
• Support in understanding and executing the project management plan and change management process.
• Ensure administration of the project quality management plan and uphold a safety culture on the project.
• Assist in calculating daily production rates and unit costs for self-performed work, and support budgeting efforts.
• Coordinate BIM (Building Information Modeling) coordination between subcontractors and designers.
• Contribute to LEED certification documentation and update Digital Record Drawings (ORD).
• Provide lines, grades and layout as required and maintain organized logbooks.
• Prepare weekly quantity logs and support cost-control processes and reporting.
